Pixel Real Estate is owned and operated by Alina Amirkhanian, acting as an individual. There is no company behind the site: where these terms say “we” or “the operator”, they mean that person. You can reach us at any time at support@pixelrealestate.homes.
By creating an account, buying a plot, or otherwise using Pixel Real Estate ("the site"), you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.
The site lets you permanently claim one or more 10×10 pixel plots on a 202×202 grid (30,000 of its cells are for sale; the rest are roads, parks and civic buildings), and optionally attach an image, description, link, and social links to any plot you own. “Permanently” means you pay once and never renew; what happens if the site ever closes is in Section 8. A plot's price depends on its position (distance from center) and how much of its district has sold. This is a display and novelty product, not an investment. We do not offer, promise, or imply any financial return, resale value, dividend, or appreciation. Any change shown between a plot's purchase price and its current price reflects our own pricing formula only — it is not a market valuation and does not mean the plot can actually be resold for that amount.
The city grid is fixed. There are 30,000 plots on it and that number will not grow — we will not add plots to the grid, resize it, or subdivide it. Nothing we may ever build elsewhere on this site changes that: it would not be a city plot and it would not be counted in the 30,000. A plot on the grid cannot be created out of anything else.
You keep ownership of any image, text, link, or social links you add to a plot you own. By adding content, you give the operator of Pixel Real Estate a non-exclusive license to display it on the site as part of the map. You're responsible for what you upload — it must be content you have the right to use, and must not be illegal, infringing, sexually explicit, hateful, or a scam or phishing attempt. Content is checked automatically before it goes live, and we may refuse to publish it; if the check cannot run, nothing is saved. Other users can also report a plot's content anonymously. We review the reports we receive, and we may remove content that breaks these rules or that we are required to remove. If you think we got it wrong, write to us and we will look again. Removing content does not cancel the purchase and does not by itself give you a refund. The 72-hour right in Section 5 is separate and runs from the moment the plot was registered to your account, whatever we later remove. Nothing here takes away rights you have under the consumer law of your own country.
The Pixel Real Estate name, design, and underlying code belong to the operator of Pixel Real Estate. This doesn't apply to content you own and upload to your own plots under Section 6.
If the site closes. If we decide to close Pixel Real Estate, we will (a) email every plot owner who has an email address on their account at least 90 days before the site closes; (b) after it closes, keep the map online as a read-only archive showing each plot’s image, link and description for at least five years, while keeping the right to remove content that breaks these terms and links that stop working or become harmful; and (c) before it closes, let each owner download their plot’s image, link, description and certificate. A Plus subscription stops renewing when we announce the closure, and the unused part of it is refunded. Closing the site does not entitle anyone to a refund of the price paid for a plot. The 72-hour cancellation right in Section 5 is not affected, and nothing here takes away rights you have under the consumer law of your own country. We will not use Section 11 to weaken this paragraph for plots already bought. If the site has to close for reasons outside our control, we will do our best to follow the same steps.
The site is provided "as is." We aim to keep it running and the map accurate, but we don't guarantee uninterrupted access, that the site will be error-free, or that any particular feature we may add later will be available or valuable.
To the extent allowed by law, the operator of Pixel Real Estate is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the site, including problems on the side of a third-party payment provider.
We may update these terms as the site develops. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above.
