An interactive map of 30,000 blocks of digital land. Each block belongs to whoever buys it (you pay once and never renew), and you can put an image, a link, and a short description on yours — a piece of internet real estate that's genuinely yours, not rented or leased.
Ownership of that block on the public map, plus the ability to add your own image, a clickable link, and a short description to it. It's yours — there is nothing to renew and nothing you have to pay again to keep it.
No. The city grid is fixed at 30,000 plots and that number will not grow — we will not add plots to it, resize it, or split existing ones. Nothing we may ever build elsewhere on this site is a city plot or counts toward the 30,000, and a plot on the grid cannot be created out of anything else. Whatever happens later, the 30,000 stay 30,000.
The map is split into 5 districts by distance from the center — Outer Ring, Midtown, Business District, Downtown, and Core District. Prices start low at the edges and rise toward the center, and also rise gradually within each district as more of it sells. There's no hand-set price list: one formula sets every price from where the plot is and how much of its district has already sold.
By card, in US dollars, at the price shown on the plot. Pick a plot, press Buy, and you finish the payment on the secure page of Dodo Payments, our reseller and merchant of record; the receipt comes from them. The plot is held for you for 30 minutes while you pay, and it becomes yours as soon as the payment is confirmed. Dodo Payments does not serve buyers in some countries, including Russia and Belarus.
On your card statement the payment usually shows as “DP* DODOPAY PIXELREALE” or something similar. If your card is not in US dollars, your bank converts the amount and may add its own fee. Some banks send a “suspicious transaction” notice for a first payment to a new shop; if it was you, confirm it with your bank — some banks hold the payment until you do. If the payment is declined, check the card’s expiry date and try again, or use another card. A declined attempt is not charged; if your bank briefly shows it as pending, it drops off on its own.
Not on your plot. You buy the plot once and it stays yours — there is nothing to renew and no second invoice for keeping it.
There is one optional thing you can pay for separately, called Plus. It watches the link on your plot and tells you if it stops working, and it gives you your visits day by day instead of only the running total. It is $49 a year for three plots and $9 a year for each plot beyond that. You buy it and cancel its renewal in your account, and you have 72 hours after the first payment to change your mind.
If you never buy it, your plot, your image, your link and your certificate work exactly the same.
Yes, within 72 hours. From the moment the plot lands in your account you have three days to change your mind and get your money back, and you don't owe us a reason. Write to us from the email on your account, or use the plot's page in your account.
The plot then goes back on the map, and whatever you put on it comes off.
After the 72 hours a purchase is final. The exception is always our own mistake: if the money went through and the plot never showed up in your account, tell us and we fix it or refund it. The full wording is in Section 5 of the Terms.
No, not today. A plot stays registered to the person who bought it, and there is no way to hand it to someone else. We are not putting a date on one either — when something exists, this answer will change. What we will not build, whatever else we add, is a marketplace: we don’t list other people’s asking prices, we don’t run auctions between owners, and we never sit in the middle of anyone’s payment.
Owning a plot here means you pay once and never have to renew. That can’t promise the site will outlive everything, so this is what we commit to if we ever decide to close it:
If the site ever has to close for reasons outside our control, we’ll do our best to do the same. Money paid for plots is not refunded when the site closes. A Plus subscription stops renewing as soon as we announce the closure, and the unused part of it is refunded. The full wording is in Section 8 of the Terms.
Open the plot on the map and use Report this plot’s content. You don’t need an account, and we never tell the owner who reported the plot. The picture, the name, the description and the main link are checked before they go live, but nothing catches everything — so reports come straight to us, we review them, and content that breaks the Terms comes off the map. The plot stays with whoever bought it.
